Introduction of foundry grade ceramic sand

Ceramic sand, used as filling sand in lost foam casting, offers advantages such as high temperature resistance, resistance to breakage, dust-free, spherical shape, high air permeability, good filling properties, and no silica dust hazards, making it a green and environmentally friendly sand. Ceramic sand is suitable for casting processes such as sand casting (molding sand, core sand), V-method casting, lost foam casting (filler sand), and coating (bead sand powder). It is used in automotive engines and auto parts, large steel and iron castings, and is considered a green and environmentally friendly foundry sand. The company has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of ceramic sand.

1. Excellent chemical composition meets various casting needs.

2. Refractory temperature: ≥1790°C

3. Particle shape: Spherical (angular modulus 1.06)

4. Particle size: 0.6mm-3.0mm

5. Bulk density: 1.95-2.05 (g/cm³)

6. Sand consumption per ton of casting: 1.0-1.5 kg.
